MEET RACHEL





With more than two decades of experience at top media brands (Us Weekly senior editor, J-14 editor in chief, CosmoGIRL! entertainment editor, Travelzoo publisher, and The WB photo publicity coordinator), Rachel Chang is an editorial expert specializing in content and storytelling in travel, entertainment, pop culture, and lifestyle.

She is regular contributor for Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure, and has also written for The New York Times for Kids, Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, BBC, Business Insider, AFAR, Lonely Planet, Airbnb Magazine, United's Hemispheres, Tripadvisor, Popsugar, Biography, Huffington Post, Mic's Out of Office, Mental Floss, The Home Edit, Parade, HelloGiggles, Money, Parade, Shermans Travel, and TripSavvy, among others.

Rachel has also been the editor in chief of Centennial Media's standalone magazines on pop culture subjects including Harry Styles (including a Time branded issue), Harry Potter, and the Royal Family (yes, her beat is British Harrys!), as well as Hunger Games, Friends, Nick Jonas, and Justin Bieber. She's also edited a series of travel-themed magazines under the brand World's Most Amazing Places. She's also been a editor for USOpen.org during 12 of the tennis tournaments since 2003.

She's served as an editor for projects at Tripadvisor and Condé Nast Traveler. Other clients include Netflix, Citi, The Foundry, and HearstMade (where she was a branded content editor for Good Housekeeping, Seventeen, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Esquire, Harper's Bazaar, and Runner's World).

Since January 2024, she's been a panelist for the Saturday Night Live podcast Saturday Night Network, and has also been the featured guest on the Traveling with AAA on filming locations and an expert on the Tubi documentary Gone Before Her Time: Brittany Murphy. Rachel has also been a guest speaker at the PRSA Travel and Tourism Conference, NYC & Company's Annual Meeting, and the Travel & Adventure show, among others.
